As a result, he became overweight and his health became compromised. It wasn’t until Isaac became an adult that he received the help that he needed to move forward from the trauma. Once he addressed his emotional and mental health, he was able to take control of his physical health and embark on his fitness journey.
His muscle growth and fitness transformations were possible because of the support he received and the barriers he removed that were hindering him.
Quintin Reed’s Muscle Growth Story
In an interview, Quintin Reed shares the story of his muscle growth transformation. Before embarking on a fitness path, Quintin wasn’t very active and ate unhealthy food. It wasn’t until Jade left her abusive relationship that she made a lot of mental changes. These mental changes allowed her to take control of her life and health, “The moment I was mentally strong enough to make physical changes is when everything truly began”.
Jade also learned through a lot of trial and error, both in her workouts and nutrition. But thanks, through this trial-and-error process, Jade was able to find her love of power-lifting and figure out the right nutrition plan for her body. Jade also advises not to be afraid of food and calories as it’s all about keeping a balance.
She still enjoys her favorite foods once in a while. She also shares that every fitness journey will have “off” days where a lot of junk food will be eaten, but it isn’t the end. We just have to get back on the right track again.
Samantha’s Muscle Growth Story
In an interview with BodyBuilding.com, Samantha shares the muscle growth journey she pursued in her 40’s. Despite being active, Samantha was at her heaviest in her 40’s and this encouraged her to alter the course of her fitness routine that was no longer giving her the results she was seeking.
A co-worker introduced her to weight lifting, healthy eating habits, and took her under his wing. Samantha refused to allow the “permanent” body change that comes with age be the norm for her, as many people tend to accept.
